No, the GreenCard is an "As-Built" report for solar components. An Electrical CoC, signed by a registered electrician, is still needed to certify the connection to your home's main power board.
An Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) in South Africa is typically valid for two years for property transfer purposes. Although it remains legally valid for the lifespan of the installation, it must be renewed in the event of a property sale or any electrical alterations or additions.
The manufacturer provides the Product Warranty, while our Workmanship Warranty covers installation quality. Note that product replacements are covered, but labor for diagnostics and hardware exchanges is billed separately unless under a maintenance plan. A PV GreenCard is required, as most manufacturers void warranties if the system isn’t installed by a certified professional.
